Sometimes it is really fun to be me.

I get to laugh with my children, be silly with my friends, and go on lots of in-real-life and virtual adventures. It’s also fun to be me because I love trying new things, meeting new people, and doing things that used to scare me.

It’s Fun…

  • It’s fun to be a mom (especially when I’m not exhausted).
  • It’s fun to be a mom blogger and social media fanatic (especially when I have quality time to write and be creative).
  • It’s fun to be a woman living in Chicagoland (especially when I honor my Me Time and explore exciting places in my own backyard).
  • It’s fun to be a mompreneur (especially when my clients see my value and purchase what I have to offer).
  • It was also fun to go to the Oprah Store across from Harpo Studies (see picture) – but I’ll save that story for another post.

As I celebrate Mother’s Day this year, I will smile and giggle, because life is good and I’m having fun.

Check Out My Interview on Funsherpa

And here’s some fun news – in honor of Mother’s Day, I was interviewed by Chicago’s Funsherpa blog. The title of the interview post is Chicago Mompreneur Builds A Business Around Balancing Life – how fun is that!

In my interview, I discuss…

  • Just how much I have learned from other mom bloggers,
  • How I find the energy to practice the art of life balance,
  • The challenges of launching my Mom Renewal coaching program and building my Inspiring Social Media coaching business,
  • A very special Mother’s Day message to Chicago moms (see below)
  • And more!

Check out the interview!

Below is the Mother’s Day message I wrote to all Chicagoland moms. Today, I also want to share this message with you…

On this Mother’s Day, I send you the gift of reclaiming, rejuvenating, and re-balancing your life. I give you permission to reconnect with your authentic self, to practice self-care, and to remember who you are above and beyond your role as a mom.

I want to remind you that moms who are physically tired, emotionally drained, mentally unfulfilled, and spiritually disconnected to their natural inner wisdom cannot fully be present in their own lives or in their children lives. So, I invite you to recharge – body, mind, and spirit – so you can live your best life as a woman, mom, and partner. I invite you to put yourself back onto your priority list because you and your children deserve it!

  • Lance – I thought of you as I was “splashing” the word fun all of this post.

  • Life has so much to offer each and everyday. As a single mom, and mompreneur as well, I have to look for the positive and the fun in everything I do. That is what keeps me going.

  • Jenny – I agree. If it’s not fun, it’s not worth it.

Mommy Beth – Welcome to The Mom Renewal Project. Looking forward to having you join the conversation.

  • It is perfect time to make some plans for the future and it is time to be happy. I’ve read this post and if I could I wish to suggest you few interesting things or tips. Maybe you could write next articles referring to this article. I desire to read even more things about it!

  • I have mastered some essential things through your blog post. One other subject I would like to state is that there are several games on the market designed especially for toddler age young children. They incorporate pattern recognition, colors, animals, and forms. These often focus on familiarization rather than memorization. This will keep little ones occupied without sensing like they are learning. Thanks
